As 2019 winds down and the CBU community prepares to ring in the new year, we’d like to invite you on a journey down memory lane as we reflect on some of the year’s most exciting highlights. 2019 has been a year of growth, innovation and excellence here at CBU, and we’re so thankful to our community for sharing in this incredible journey with us. We’re proud to present the highlights of 2019!
We launched a new brand August brought the excitement of a new brand for Cape Breton University, a brand that expresses our strategic ambition and strong connection to the Island. The brand reflects who we are and what we stand for, and includes a refreshed visual identity and logo.
Our CAPERS soccer teams made AUS history (again!) Cape Breton University became the first university in AUS history to host both the Men’s and Women’s AUS Championships in back-to-back years. Both teams defended their titles and went on to Nationals to represent CBU.
We hosted some incredible events From academic conferences, to athletic championships, celebrations and more, campus has been bustling with excitement all year long.
